Benedicta Enrichment Seminar
Whether at home, at church, or at the workplace, conflict is inevitable. Yet how we deal with conflict determines its outcome. This 5-part interactive seminar will unveil 12 habits for Christian servant leaders as presented in Dr. Ann Garrido’s 2016 book Redeeming Conflict. Topics for discussion include navigating conflict triangles, welcoming emotion, problem solving, speaking one’s voice, undoing the knot of intentionality, and listening toward understanding. Reference will be made to the lives of holy women, such as Saints Thekla, Monica and Jane Frances de Chantal, who welcomed conflict as a hopeful opportunity for growth and deeper conversion. Participants will walk away with practical tools to approach everyday conflicts with new insight, deepened empathy, and enduring virtue.

Winter Immersive February 3-9, 2025
At the heart of the meaning of the feminine genius is the Blessed Virgin Mary. Yet how do we come to know Our Lady well? This course will delve into the mystery of Mary by encountering her loving presence through Scripture and the devotional practices of the Church. In particular, Saint Louis de Montfort’s True Devotion to Mary and Caryll Houselander’s The Reed of God will guide participants into the wonder of being children of such a beautiful Mother. The powerful maxim attributed to Saint Teresa of Calcutta–“No Mary, No Jesus; Know Mary, Know Jesus”–will illuminate our journey all the way into the humble and hidden home of Nazareth.

A journey will be made from the fallen disobedience of Eve to the redemptive obedience of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Participants will read required texts, view weekly instructional videos, respond to weekly posts based on readings, and attend Zoom sessions each Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm to discuss insights gained through the readings and have questions answered.
